My Visit To Jeff Attwoods Stud
September 2007
Me with Jeff Atwood at his stud here in Devon

I have recently had the pleasure of visiting the aviaries belonging to the one and only Jeff Attwood, Jeff has been keeping birds for more years than I have been born, so I felt very privileged to visit him.
He has the most amazing aviary I have ever seen with many good looking birds Jeff has a wealth off information and soon imparted some good advice to me, pointing out what I should look for in a good quality bird but most importantly pointing out that I am a novice so I could still make mistakes and I at this stage should not be parting with large amounts of money (not that mum would let me) I think in a nut shell Jeff was saying I should not try to run before I can walk.
Jeff is also coming to visit my small aviary, he is going to give me some pointers on the budgies I already have, and I am sure he will point out any mistakes I have made so far, he is also guiding me in the correct way to get started with the budgerigar society which in turn will enable me to get the correct rings for showing my birds when I have breed some.

Jeff gave up much of his time with me and I would like to say thank you Jeff, you have been a big help but I am sure I will be visiting you more often with my endless questions, the photos above are of Jeff and myself I got to handle one of his budgies on that photo the other is just a small part of Jeff’s aviary.
