Well it has been a while since I last updated my site, as you can see by the page
about my new bird room I have been very busy helping my dad, also I have had
exams at school but I have at last found five minuets to update my site .I have bred some nice birds since my last up update and will show you these later on, for now I would like to give you my latest news. It all started about 2 months ago when my
very good friend Mr Jeff Attwood gave me a double factor Melanistic spangle hen she
is absolutely lovely as you can see in the photo. Also as I did not have a good blue
cock bird to pair her with, Jeff very kindly has loaned me one of his blue Cobalt cocks who is also a stunning bird, I paired the two together straight away. It took them a couple of weeks but low and behold they laid 5 eggs,  I had high hopes but of course only time would tell if they where full or would even hatch but here we are several weeks on and they have produce 5 chicks all doing well. The parents both seem to be looking after the chicks very well; I can even see one of them will be Blue as you can see by the photos, all the chicks look in good healthy condition. Jeff tells me they
should all be single factor Melanistic Spangle birds regardless of their colour, as far
as he is aware these could the first birds to be bred anywhere from this combination
of genes so watch this space only time will tell. Again I would like to thank
Jeff Attwood not only for the birds but also for his patience with my questions and problems along the way.
