well I have been breeding birds for nearly two years now, and looking back it is interesting to see how it all began. As you can see the photos to the left show what I started with , most of these birds where bought from pet shops and I thought they where good birds, that was until I joined the torbaybfbs.com club. Here members taught me and still do teach me many valuable bits of information, some of them also gave me birds to improve my stock line, having said all of that these birds gave me a good grounding for the handling and breeding budgerigars. |

Now two years on I have gained a wealth of experience well that is compared to two years ago, genetics are starting to become second nature although there is still much to learn. As you can see the photo to the right shows my latest babies, here they are only 6 weeks old and appear to be much improved to two years ago. I hope I can continue to improve these birds they still never cease to amaze me. |
